An iconic FPS video game series is getting a TV adaptation at Amazon Prime Video from one of Fallout's producers. Amazon Prime's television library now has several video game adaptations in the works, including Fallout season 2, God of War, and Mass Effect.
Audiences can expect Fallout season 2 in December 2025, and shows like God of War and Mass Effect are in stages of pre-production. Amazon also has the animated anthology series Secret Level for audiences to look forward to, following its successful first season.

The beloved first-person shooter video game series Wolfenstein is the next title to be brought to the screen, with Fallout production company Kilter Films involved (via Variety). Kilter Films is a studio led by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, responsible for shows such as Westworld and The Peripheral, among others.

Our Take On Amazon's Wolfenstein Adaptation
Amazon Is Quickly Becoming The Dominant Streaming Service For IP-based fantasy/Sci-Fi
From upcoming video game adaptations like Warhammer 40,000 and God of War to movie franchise spinoffs like Blade Runner 2099 and The Rings of Power, Amazon's library is expanding for those interested in speculative fiction shows. With the production company behind Fallout involved as well, this seems like an ideal home for Wolfenstein.
I'm not extensively familiar with Patrick Somerville's work, particularly the shows he's created. However, I am a massive fan of The Leftovers and feel inclined to put my trust in any writers who worked on that series.
There's certainly something to be said about Somerville being a long-term fan of Wolfenstein, but I believe the more critical element is that he has experience on a variety of TV productions. This is a veteran television producer, and with Jonathan Nolan's Fallout-producing company at his side, I'm hopeful this could turn out well.
