Final Destination Bloodlines Box Office Hits Major Global Milestone That Inches Closer To A Franchise Record

Final Destination Bloodlines has passed a major box office milestone. The 2025 movie, which was directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein from a screenplay by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, is the sixth installment in the horror franchise, which follows Death hunting down people who have escaped disaster via premonitions and killing them in a variety of creatively gory ways. The Final Destination Bloodlines release had a promising start, grossing $102 million worldwide during its opening weekend and outgrossing the entire run of 2003's Final Destination 2 in just three days.

Per Variety, as of Sunday morning, Final Destination Bloodlines is projected to end its second weekend in theaters by hitting a cumulative worldwide gross of $187 million, with $94.6 million of that total coming from domestic theaters. This means that it has already hit the $150 million milestone at the global box office as of Friday, making it only the seventh 2025 release to have that major achievement, after Snow White ($204.9 million as of Friday), Sinners ($329 million), Thunderbolts* ($335.3 million), Captain America: Brave New World ($415.1 million), A Minecraft Movie ($934.3 million), and Ne Zha 2 ($1.899 billion).
